Who: This trip is designed for women (21+) who are craving adventure, time for themselves, and the chance to reconnect with nature. Whether you’re a solo traveller, a mum needing a break, or simply someone looking to experience the magic of Finnish Lapland with a group of like-minded women, this trip is for you!

What: A fully hosted, all-inclusive 11-day women’s adventure through the breath-taking landscapes of Finnish Lapland in autumn. Expect stunning hikes, kayaking on pristine lakes, traditional Finnish saunas, wildlife encounters (including huskies, reindeer and brown bears) and the chance to see the Northern Lights. You’ll stay in beautiful, handpicked accommodations – including a glass igloo – so you can fully relax and soak in the Arctic wilderness. Full itinerary below.

What’s not included in the package:

While this is an all-inclusive adventure, some expenses are not covered to allow for personal flexibility and individual preferences. Here’s what is not included:

International flights – Travellers are responsible for booking their flights to and from Rovaniemi, Finland.

Airport transfers outside of designated times – If arriving/departing outside of the scheduled group transfer, you’ll need to arrange your own transport.

Alcohol & additional beverages – While all meals are included, alcoholic drinks, specialty coffees, and extra beverages are at your own expense.

Additional meals outside the itinerary – If you choose to explore local restaurants beyond the included group meals.

Optional activities & personal expenses – Any extra excursions, spa treatments, souvenirs, or personal shopping are at your discretion.

Tips & gratuities – Tipping is not required in Finland, but if you wish to show appreciation for local guides, drivers, or exceptional service, it’s at your own discretion.

Phone & internet usage – SIM cards, roaming fees, or any personal data usage costs are not included. You can get an eSIM here or contact your phone provider to arranging international roaming.

Gear & equipment rentals (if needed) – While most activities include necessary equipment, specialised gear like hiking poles or additional cold-weather clothing may need to be rented if you don’t bring your own.

Whether you’re unwinding in a stylish retreat after a day of adventure or gazing up at the Arctic sky from your igloo, each accommodation is designed to enhance your experience and provide a peaceful place to rest.

Accommodation is available as single or shared, allowing you to choose what suits you best. If you’re traveling solo and prefer to share (or combination), we’ll pair you with another traveller from the group.

From the moment you arrive, all transport is taken care of. Our private group vehicle ensures a smooth and comfortable journey, allowing us to travel together, enjoy scenic routes, and make stops at hidden gems along the way.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Lapland – Your Adventure Begins!

Step off the plane (or train) and breathe in the fresh Arctic air – you’ve arrived in Rovaniemi, the heart of Finnish Lapland, where your unforgettable journey begins. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the magic of the North, where golden autumn landscapes meet crisp, invigorating air.

After settling into our cosy accommodation, we’ll come together for a warm and welcoming dinner, the perfect way to connect with your fellow adventurers. Over a delicious spread of authentic Lappish cuisine, you’ll get to know each other, share stories and excitement for the days ahead. This is more than just a meal – it’s the start of an incredible journey filled with new friendships, unforgettable experiences, and the chance to reconnect with yourself in the beauty of the Arctic wilderness.

Day 2: Husky Encounters & Santa Claus Village

Experience the excitement of meeting energetic Arctic huskies, learning about their lives as sled dogs, and enjoying plenty of cuddles and photo opportunities. Gain insight into their deep bond with mushers and what it takes to care for these incredible animals year-round.

Then, step into the enchantment of Santa Claus Village, where the spirit of Christmas is alive all year. Cross the Arctic Circle, meet Santa himself, send a postcard from the official Santa Claus Post Office and explore festive shops filled with holiday treasures.

Day 3: Posio – Exploring the Magnificent Korouoma Canyon & Igloo Stay

Today, we journey to Posio, home to one of Finland’s most spectacular hiking destinations – Korouoma Canyon. With its towering cliffs, rugged landscapes, and vibrant autumn colours, this breath-taking canyon offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. After a day of adventure, settle into your cosy igloo, where you’ll spend the next two nights. This bucket-list stay allows you to unwind beneath the Arctic sky, with the chance to witness the mesmerising Northern Lights right from the comfort of your bed.

Day 4: Igloo Stay, Arctic Design & Wilderness Exploration

Wake up in the comfort of your luxurious igloo accommodation, surrounded by the beauty of the Arctic wilderness. Today’s adventure includes a visit to Pentik, Finland’s renowned Arctic design brand, where you’ll explore its unique ceramics and home décor. Later, immerse yourself in nature with a peaceful hike through Riisitunturi National Park, famous for its rolling hills, vibrant autumn colours, and breath-taking landscapes.

Day 5: Ruka – The Ultimate Finnish Sauna Experience

After a relaxed morning, we’ll journey to Ruka, one of Lapland’s premier adventure destinations, with a delicious lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in a truly authentic Finnish experience – a traditional smoke sauna. This centuries-old ritual offers deep relaxation and rejuvenation, allowing you to unwind as the gentle heat and aromatic wood smoke work their magic.

Day 6: Wilderness Hiking & Bear Watching

Day 7: Whitewater Rafting, Sauna Bliss & Leisure Time

Kick off the day with an exciting whitewater rafting adventure, paddling through the pristine Arctic waters as you navigate thrilling rapids surrounded by stunning wilderness. After the rush of adrenaline, it’s time to unwind and recharge with a traditional Finnish sauna experience, followed by lunch, allowing you to fully embrace the balance of adventure and relaxation.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace – relax in the comfort of your accommodation, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, or meander through the charming local village, discovering its unique shops, cafés, and cosy spots. Day 8: Oulanka National Park & Woodfire Sauna Experience

Today, we venture into the untamed beauty of Oulanka National Park, a true wilderness gem in Finnish Lapland. Known for its lush forests, winding rivers, dramatic gorges, and cascading waterfalls, Oulanka is a haven for outdoor lovers. As we embark on a scenic hike, we’ll traverse wooden boardwalks, cross suspension bridges, and take in the serene beauty of the Arctic landscape, where golden autumn colours paint the surroundings. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, as reindeer and rare bird species often make an appearance.

After a day of adventure, it’s time to embrace the deep-rooted Finnish tradition of sauna and cold-water therapy. We’ll unwind in a woodfire sauna, letting the soothing heat relax our muscles, before taking a refreshing dip in a crystal-clear lake. This rejuvenating ritual is the perfect way to soak in the last evening in Ruka, leaving you feeling both invigorated and at peace.

Day 9: Scenic Journey to Levi – Lapland’s Alpine Escape

Today, we embark on a picturesque journey from Ruka to Levi, traveling through some of Finnish Lapland’s most charming and remote towns. As we wind our way north, we pass through forested landscapes, rolling fells and tranquil lakes, with the golden hues of autumn painting the scenery in warm tones.

As we continue, the landscape begins to shift, revealing more of Lapland’s rugged fells and open tundras, signalling our approach to Levi – a vibrant alpine village nestled among rolling hills and ski slopes. Known for its cosy accommodations, lively atmosphere and pristine wilderness, Levi offers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. After settling in, you’ll have the evening to unwind and take in the fresh Arctic air.

Day 10: Santa’s Cabin Hike, Arctic Kayaking & Final Dinner Together

Our final day in Lapland begins with a scenic hike to Santa’s Cabin, a picturesque hut featured in Christmas Story, set among golden autumn landscapes and sweeping Arctic views – a perfect spot for reflection and photos.

Later, we trade hiking boots for paddles, gliding across a pristine Arctic lake where the only sounds are the splash of water and the rustling of trees—a moment of pure tranquillity. In the evening, we come together for a special farewell dinner, celebrating the adventures, laughter and friendships made on this unforgettable journey.

Day 11: Return to Rovaniemi & Farewell to Lapland

As our incredible journey comes to an end, we make our way back to Rovaniemi, hearts full and spirits lifted. Over the past week, you’ve stepped outside your routine, embraced new challenges, and reconnected with both nature and yourself.

Whether you’re heading home or continuing your travels, you’ll leave Lapland feeling rejuvenated, empowered and deeply inspired. The crisp Arctic air, the warmth of shared laughter, and the magic of the wilderness will stay with you long after you return. You’ll take home more than just memories – you’ll carry a renewed sense of adventure, a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty, and the confidence to keep exploring, both in the world and within yourself.

Travel Requirements & Other Important Info

Entry Requirements: Currently, Finland does not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for visitors. However, it’s always best to check for any updates before traveling. A valid passport (with at least six months of validity at the time of entry) is required, along with proof of onward travel (such as a return ticket).

Fitness & Activity Level: This trip is designed for active women who enjoy outdoor adventures. While no extreme fitness is required, you should be comfortable with moderate hiking (5-10 km per day), walking on uneven terrain, and participating in activities like kayaking and whitewater rafting. Some hikes include elevation changes, but they are manageable with a reasonable fitness level.

Weather & Packing: September in Finnish Lapland is cool and fresh, with temperatures ranging from 5-15°C (41-59°F). Packing layers, waterproof gear and comfortable hiking shoes is essential to stay warm and dry while embracing the Arctic outdoors.

Group Travel Experience: This is a small group trip designed for like-minded women who love adventure, nature and meaningful connections. We’ll be traveling together in private transport, staying in shared or single accommodation and embracing the wilderness as a team.

Cancellation & refund policy

If you decide to cancel within the first 7 days of registering, I will provide you a 100% refund. After that, there will be NO refunds for cancellations, even illness. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise and I need to cancel the trip, I will either refund you or reschedule for an agreed upon time in 2026.

Additionally, I will not provide any refunds 90 days prior to the departure of the trip, if you register within that time frame. Lastly, it is HIGHLY recommended to purchase travel insurance before the trip. This way if you need to cancel, you will be reimbursed by your insurance company.
