One thing to keep in mind when planning your visit to Santa’s Cabin is the terrain. The cabin is accessible year-round, but it’s located at the top of a steep mountain. However, descending from the mountaintop can be tricky, especially during winter when the path may be icy. The steep incline can be slippery, so is you’re visiting you should take care and wear appropriate footwear for the trek down. It’s a good idea to take your time and enjoy the scenery on the way up and down to fully appreciate the beauty of Levi. I slipped on the gravel when I was there as there are loose rocks underfoot.
