The Tallinn Old Town is one of the most exceptional places I have visited in winter. The Christmas Markets are to die for, quaint, festive, full of charisma and atmosphere. Not to be missed in my opinion! You can absolutely buy a Christmas jumper at the Tallinn Christmas Markets and they will be cheaper than buying them in Lapland, but to be honest with you, you can buy them a lot cheaper outside the Old City Walls at some of the more local (not commercialised) markets that you’ll find on street corners. Don’t disregard them, do yourself a favour and go in and find yourself the best Christmas jumper!

We bought ours from a small daytime market with maybe up to ten vendors. They sold a range of wintery items and Christmas jumpers. Mine cost just twenty five Euros and the gents’ cost twenty Euros! Bargain! All of those I found in Lapland on my Autumn trip were over one hundred and twenty Euros.

Check out these photos below to see where we bought ours!

I could be wrong but it didn’t feel like the kind of market you look for a bargain. We were very happy with the cost, the quality and the experience. My jumper became a feature of my chosen wardrobe for the duration of our European adventure – I loved it!
